I want to show you today some phrases to express that youre busy.
Lets begin!
The word for busy is: ocupado (oh-coo-pah-doh)
*The word ocupado is the masculine. The femenine form is Ocupada. If you’re a girl, use ocupada; if you’re a boy, use ocupado.
There is also: atareado (ah-tah-reh-ah-doh) which means busy, or rushed
*The femenine is atareada.
Estoy ocupado Im busy
Etoy atareado (or atareada, in femenine) Im busy; Im rushed
You can add the following words to stress your statement:
Estoy bien atareado Im very busy
Estoy tan ocupado Im so busy
Estoy súper ocupada Im super busy
Estoy muy atareada Im very busy. Or, Im too busy
Estoy demasiado ocupado Im too busy
Other useful busy phrases:
No puedo ahora, estoy ocupado I cant right now, Im too busy
Este fin de semana no puedo, es que estare ocupado I cant this weekend, Ill be busy
Esta semana estoy muy ocupado Im very busy this week
Ese dia tengo un compromiso I have a compromise that day
Ya tengo planes para el fin the semana I already have plans for the weekend
